Follow along, or argue for something, in GitHub Discussions. Specific work is tracked in issues.
Now
- Open-source launch: making the repository public, with documentation, contributor guides, CI and the Fieldnote demo product to try the app with.
- Signed installers and automatic updates: the release workflow already builds macOS, Windows and Linux installers, and installed copies update themselves from GitHub Releases. Code signing for macOS and Windows comes next, then the first published release.
- Testing on real sites and accounts: every module is tested against stand-ins. Next is real sites, real Search Console properties, real posts on each of the seven posting sites, and Windows and Linux desktops. Reports are especially welcome.
Next
- Cheaper bulk AI: scoring large backlogs through Anthropic’s and OpenAI’s batch APIs, at about half the price.
- Accessibility: ignoring an issue on one page only, a score weighted by traffic, an HTML accessibility statement to paste into your site, and a PDF of the ACR draft.
- AI visibility: asking Claude and OpenAI in the same run, and results broken down by topic.
- Security behind a sign-in: the same outside checks on pages you can only see when signed in, after you sign in by hand. Your session is never stored.
Later
- Marketing: more channels (such as Threads and YouTube comments), and reading ad spend from the ad platforms instead of entering it by hand.
- SEO & GEO: redirect chains, page depth and
hreflang; queries with no matching page; GitHub and GitLab issues for search findings. - Accessibility: scans behind a sign-in, mobile viewports and a keyboard walk-through.
- Security: more library detection, and reading PDF reports from other vendors.
- Ideas from the community: if something here matters to you, or is missing, say so in Discussions.
Recently shipped
- Security: ownership verification, outside checks on every scan, exposure monitoring, AI help and a disclosure kit.
